We are looking to build partnerships that are bold and award winning; that take sailing to a new level and a new audience. That combines the charisma, glamour and passion of the sport with the heroics and bravery of ocean racing.
Conrad Humphreys has over ten years experience of delivering results driven sponsorship programmes for some of the world’s biggest brands. His experience transcends many aspects of the sport from world championship dinghy racing to premier ocean racing. In 2005 along with just five teams, he pioneered the Extreme 40 class and committed to creating a new era in spectator sailing to bring it into the heart of Cities and the public.
In 2006, Conrad Humphreys Racing (CHR) wrote the Host City Bid for the Artemis Transat and led the organisation to deliver the most successful ocean race start in the race’s 40 year history. This was a new departure from running a sponsored team in the event and showed our capacity to build an event with colour, ambience and community at the heart of the programme. Today, CHR has been absorbed into a new creative sport’s marketing company called Sport Enviroment where we deliver creativity and passion using both sport and social responsibility to drive brand value.
Please click on our case studies to see examples of the programmes we have been involved in.
Below is a selection of sailing’s most prolific sponsorship properties, we’ve highlighted both the IMOCA Ocean Racing Series and the Extreme 40 iShares Cup becasuse both these properties are delivering consistently strong media return and partner ROI.
We’d be delighted to discuss in more details the opportunities that Sailing offers as a brand marketing platform.
